Our Story
Film industry professionals with 23 years of experience, combining a strong artistic sensibility with deep technical expertise. Skilled in both independent work and collaborative environments. In 2011, we founded our VFX studio GiantMilkCan, through which we have contributed to numerous commercial, film, and immersive productions. Over the years, we continuously developed custom pipelines to support our projects. This ongoing work ultimately led to the creation of MilkWorks — a modular pipeline solution
Following our 2022 proof of concept, we transformed MilkWorks into a comprehensive prototype system. We deployed and developed this pipeline for the first time during production of the animated feature film “The Last Whale Singer” at Telescope Animation.
Throughout the nearly 3-year production cycle, we refined and expanded our suite of modular pipeline tools. This experience was both rewarding and demanding, ultimately demonstrating how Unreal Engine could revolutionize traditional linear production workflows for films and series.
In 2025 – drawing from three years of development and hands-on production experience – we officially launched MilkWorks as a platform to demonstrate and educate others about our pipeline solutions. MilkWorks simplifies the process of incorporating Unreal Engine into established linear production workflows.
